Have recently become interested in collecting an entire set from 2003-04 O-Pee-Chee or Topps...

It would be the very last year for these brands... (Unless you count the OPC cards that are now produced by Upper Deck)

When the CBA expired and the lockout ensued, Upper Deck pretty much took over the hockey card industry, swallowing OPC and forcing Topps out of the market.

Just happened to notice that 2003-04 Topps is ranked as one of the top 100 sets of all times according to the people who rated it on TCDb.
